If you haven't read yesterday's review of William Deslauriers' new album, you may want to do so before viewing these clips... or not, your choice...

Seeing as most of my readers are unfamiliar with both William Deslauriers and Fred Fortin, and have never heard the song "Moisi moé ssi" (either because you have no access to French music, or you are simply godless fascists), I'll let you compare the two versions at your leisure...

I have disabled comments on this post, because I really didn't want to turn this into a public debate over which version is better (not that the comment sections are used enough that a debate could ever take place there). It's a good song, and there can never be too many interpretations of a good song - unless of course, you pull a Sarah Mclaughlin, and release remixes of the same core songs album, after album, after album, after album...(Stop it Sarah, I mean it! Don't make me bitch-slap you!).
