I've been ignoring these pages again, I know.
I catch myself commenting on other blogs, and kick myself for not posting here. After all, I do know that a small group of people are amused by my tirades (of course friends will say anything to get the occasional free meal and a chance to watch Spartacus in 720p).
Two events have so inspired me though, that I simply have to do some posting this weekend...
First we have the continuing Jaffer/Guergis fiasco.
Let's face it, you can't PAY for entertainment like this dynamic-duo!
If you hated Harper for ruling his MP's with totalitarian control, I bet you kinda wish he could have kept it up just a wee bit longer! When you get a close look at the folks that make up these new-fangled Conservatives, it is not a pretty picture. It's bad enough to know that hissy-fits in airports, and coke-posession/DUI/85-in-a-50 busts are somehow pardoned, but the absolute air of entitlement that this crew demonstrates on a regular basis, is really starting to piss me off.

The Status of Women portfolio is now under the purview of the Office of the Minister of Public Works.

I mean, where else but Canada would we have such amazing Parliamentary depth that the PMO would be forced to sluff-off Women's Rights on Public Works (unless you see a correlation there that I'm missing)! Rona baby, don't worry, women's rights are about as high on this government's agenda as, say, the Environment? So relax, you'll do great. Steven will tell you everything to do and say, just like last time, so there's no need to think on your own. Just try not to make abortion illegal while you're at it.
Admit it. It's time. Harper has GOT to jetski in a wetsuit to his next news conference, if he expects to maintain any credibility. Come on Stevie, Canadians need a man-boob distraction!
